Paneke Poneke
Trails Wellington has been working with WCC’s Paneke Poneke cycleways programme (i.e., Bike network plan), to create complementary off-road trail routes. One positive outcome of this work is that a small section of Grade 2 Mt Bike trail (i.e., off-road commuter trail), is likely to be built in 2025, connecting the road commuter trail from Liardet Park to Adelaide Rd, through Mac Alister Park.
WCC will maintain this trail.
