MOUNTAIN BIKE PRIZE
The mountain bike prize consists of the winner’s choice of one Zerode mountain bike, subject to availability.
Available models include:
- Taniwha
- Katipo
- G3
Further information on models is available on the Zerode website.
If the G3 model is selected, it will be supplied with a 38 fork. Any recommended upgrades, including an upgrade to a 40 fork, are optional and at the winner’s expense.
ROTORUA ACCOMMODATION PRIZE
The Rotorua accommodation prize consists of a two night stay at Southstar Evergreen, located adjacent to the Whakarewarewa Forest.
The property is designed for mountain bike accommodation and can host up to 12 guests.
Prize inclusions and conditions:
- Two nights’ accommodation, valid for stays between 1 June and 31 August.
Accommodation for up to six guests is included in the prize. - The property contains eight double/twin bedrooms.
- Additional guests may be added at a cost of $90 per person, per night, up to the maximum occupancy of 12 guests.
- Additional nights may be added during the valid period at a cost of $400 per night, subject to availability.
- Transport to Rotorua and any additional costs associated with the stay are not included unless expressly stated.

- Mataraingi Festival Hub – On-stage draw between 5:30–6:00 pm, 28 February 2026 (Mountain Bike)
- Waiu Park – Prize drawn on stage between 1:00–1:30 pm (Rotorua Accommodation)
- Employees, contractors, committee members, and individuals holding a key operational role with Trails Wellington or the Wellington Mountain Bike Festival are not eligible to win any prizes.
- Immediate family members of key operational staff are also excluded from the major prizes.
- Entry is free. No purchase is required.

HOW TO ENTER:
- To enter, participants must post a Reel showing themselves or others (with permission) riding mountain bike trails in Wellington.
- The Reel must tag Trails Wellington and Wellington Mountain Bike Festival to be considered a valid entry.

- The maximum number of entries per person across the competition period is five, plus any bonus entries awarded for winning a weekly prize.
